Shannon Younkin

Shannon is versatile, dexterous and uniquely qualified to maintain the fast-paced environment of a young agency in perpetual motion. She said, “I love that every day brings something different. Every client, every project, every property — they are all unique.”

Before joining Laurie Coton Designs in 2013, Shannon worked as an executive assistant and office manager at a local energy firm. She possesses strong organizational skills and enjoys the ebb and flow of daily activities of the agency.

With a B.A. in Psychology from Texas A & M, she enjoys the dynamic real estate environment and the beauty and creativity involved in working with design clients.

Along with her husband and two elementary school age sons, they enjoy the Houston Astros, Aggie football and traveling. Shannon volunteers at her sons’ school, supports their youth program at Krav Maga Houston and at Westbury Little League where they both play baseball. A small tribe of animals — two dogs and a fish — round out the family unit.

And among other notable distinctions, Shannon is a proud fourth generation Houstonian!
