Colleen Humphrey

When Colleen is asked how she decided to become a Realtor, she replies, “During the home buying process, clients want an advocate and I want to provide that to my clients”. She has a knack for making people feel comfortable and is no stranger to the world of real estate — her mother is a real estate investor and her grandmother was a real estate broker until she turned 80!

Colleen is a motivator and a self-starter. She attended Lone Star College Cy-Fair where she initiated the Psychology Club and also served as Vice President of Student Government Association. She transferred to the University of Houston where she earned a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She is a Houstonian, having grown up in Copperfield. She enjoys the community very much and practices her love of swimming by coaching the Copperfield Dolphins, the neighborhood swim teams consisting of 4-18 year olds. They fiercely compete with other neighborhood swim teams in the area.

She enjoys representing sellers and welcomes listing their homes as a “labor of love”. Holding open houses literally opens the door for her creativity. She enjoys staging the home and offering door prizes to her guests. She speaks elementary Spanish, having studied abroad in Costa Rica, but confides that she could use a little practice in real estate terminology.
