Through thoughtful design decisions, together we will reinvent your home to make it one you are proud to share with your friends and family. Our team will develop systems to improve how you live and use your space. We believe in open communication and designing for our client’s lifestyles in order to reflect the personalities of family members in the home.

1. Discovery Call

Our initial call is used to determine if we are a fit for one another.

2. Introductory Meeting

Let’s talk to better understand the scope and walk you through our process.

3. Proposal Meeting

We will review the design agreement and time estimate with you and answer any questions you may have.

4. Construction Presentation

Our team will work on finish selections included in your project scope for the construction stage. We will also develop and present CAD drawings for all interior applications if applicable.

5. Contractor Visit

If you have not selected a contractor, a Coton House design team member and a trusted contractor will visit the project site to add to notes, take additional measurements and review the scope.

6. Ordering

Once you approve drawings and selections through our accounting system, our Coton House admin will place the orders and troubleshoot any possible issues that may arise.

7. Furnishings Design Process

For full-service interior design projects, the furnishings presentation and ordering process will be repeated for all furnishings, decorative lighting, decorative paint, wall coverings, floor coverings, soft goods, art, accessories, mirrors, window treatments, and any additional items that may be included in your project scope.

8. Work Begins

If needed by the scope of the work, you may be required to relocate while the work is completed. Work will begin after all materials and products have been received.

9. Final Client Walkthrough:

Before we’re done, a Coton House team member will walk your space with you and the contractor to determine if there are any additional needs or specifics to be finished before completing the job.

10. Work is Complete and is Photo Ready:

Welcome to your new home! Embarrassment no more! Now is the time to invite your friends and family over and proudly share your new home.
