Her clients value her charisma and confidence and are not disappointed in the outcome of their relationship with her, whether it’s listing their current home or selecting a new home to enjoy.

After working for more than a decade in the cosmetic and retail industries, earning a position as territory manager, she was ready to apply her knowledge and experience to help people meet the challenges presented by real estate ventures. She remarked, ”I’m a dynamic sales leader and love to work with anyone that’s willing to make it fun along the way.”

Originally from Miami, MJ relocated to Houston nearly 2 decades ago. She enjoys the welcoming attitude and friendliness of the people here and commented on how friends easily become family, even though there are no shared blood lines. Also, having traveled nearly 75 percent of her time in her previous career, on return flights to the city she developed a greater appreciation of how beautiful the Houston skyline is.

MJ and her husband who are childhood sweethearts since the age of 5, enjoy their leisure time with their young son. Hosting family get-togethers are especially enjoyable for her. MJ said, “It’s important to keep the family together and to carry on our Latino ancestry by cooking traditional foods that reflect our heritage.” In creating greater synergy between her career and family, MJ and her husband call Second Baptist their home, where her husband plays the drums during the Sunday contemporary worship service. She considers his artistic contributions as an integral part of their diverse lifestyle.
