Having grown up in Pascagoula, MS, Dionne brims with Southern Charm! Her warmth is reflected in her wide smile and sincere interest in getting to know her clients and how she can meet their real estate objectives. Her motivation to become a realtor resulted from a personal experience that left her feeling ‘out of the loop’. As a first-time homebuyer expecting to receive guidance through the multi-level, and often overwhelming, process, she gained the impetus to enter the industry. Dionne’s prior experience gained over a 10-year period in the oil and gas industry serves her realty clients very well. She developed important organizational skills and attention to detail in her position as Procurement Manager responsible for purchasing heavy mechanical equipment, piping, coating materials as well as equally important items such as nuts and bolts. As a professional buyer, the skills honed in reviewing and negotiating contracts relate significantly to her work with her realty clientele. The signal to change career direction occurred when the oil and gas business experienced a downturn. Five years ago, Dionne transitioned to real estate and initially focused on apartment location services as well as sales and leasing.
Well-versed with the Katy, Richmond and Rosenberg areas, she enjoys working with first-time home buyers and clients relocating to the Houston area interested in leasing, new construction and pre-owned residential homes and townhomes. Dionne ‘gives back’ by volunteering in the Imaging Department at a suburban Methodist Hospital and finds time to support a passion for travel in the Caribbean. She and her husband count the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Jamaica as well as the Turks and Caicos as familiar itineraries and have their sights set on Barcelona, Spain. She has experienced an exciting, significant ‘fast forward’ from Pascagoula, her mother and three siblings to experience new horizons together with her Houston real estate clients.
