The Coton House design team is always learning and gaining inspiration from the many showrooms, vendor visits, and trade shows we attend. This summer, we had the pleasure of attending Las Vegas Market. Over 4,000 lines were displayed, and we can’t wait to introduce a wide variety of products to our clients.
We wanted to share some of our favorite trends!
1. Mid-Century Colors
We collaborated with Benjamin Moore earlier this year and created a mid-century color palette. Many of those colors were used at Market in art, furniture, floor coverings, and accessories. Contact us if you would like a copy of our color card!
2. Interesting Shapes
Curves have been everywhere for the last couple of years, and we are seeing a few new interpretations of them in accent furniture. It’s more toned down and combined with straight lights.
3. Texture
Inventive ways of incorporating texture in furniture. Not just through the materials used but also through how the materials are applied in the design.
4. Fewer Curves
Clean lines are back! Curved furniture is beautiful in moderation. It was refreshing to see more timeless pieces.
5. Statement Lighting
One of our favorite ways to transform and update spaces is through decorative lighting. These pieces make a statement and add personality to any space.
