Catherine fully realizes the meaning of the old adage: “Experience is the best teacher”. When she and her husband, Brandon, decided to sell their first home, she remembers the important steps, such as defining the list price and working through the negotiation process, as intimidating and overwhelming. She says, “My goal as a realtor is to help alleviate the fear and anxiety that goes along with the buying or selling of a home”. She understands that having a trusted professional to help make decisions throughout the process is priceless.

Working as a licensed dental hygienist has appealed to her nurturing nature, which is an important asset in real estate. Her sales experience began with Stryker in medical device sales, followed by healthcare sales with a technology company that provides credentialing software for hospitals nationwide. Underscoring these experiences is a Bachelor of Science degree.

Catherine & Brandon, and now with their young family, have returned to Houston where they lived for 4 years before moving to the DFW area. Consequently, she knows Houston well and is enjoying building a client base here. She finds real estate fun and exciting — a career that challenges her to become better every day. She credits being a good listener to her success in helping her clients find what they want in their next home. Being a young mother, she enjoys working with families with children, millennials and first-time buyers or sellers as well.
Between 2 boys, 3 dogs, family and friends, the Kangas family stays very busy. Any activities that can be enjoyed outdoors is where you will find them spending their leisure time together.
